Denzel Brooks Born: 1997 St. Martin Position: Shortstop Bats: Right • Throws: Right Another product of the St. Martin’s little league, Denzel has proven himself as a fielder and a hitter with great speed.He have made every selection on the island as a starter, 2016 as part of the Piper Davis selected players, he made every eyes open and heads turn.He was invited to a tryout with 8 major league teams in Birmingham Alabama on location to see him do what he does best play the game of baseball.He was also invited to Jackson State university baseball team for a school visit, to see if he thinks it’s a good fit for him to play college baseball. Denzel took hit talent to the Netherlands and still kept his head on the game he loves so dearly, he desired to start from the beginning and prove his worth on the field.Denzel is now playing in the highest level of baseball in Holland, he’s at the top of the league as a fielder and a hitter while still remains a fleet footed base runner. Denzel is also the grandson of the late great St Martin baseball Hall of famer Mr Calvin Brook. RIP
